Cauloflower stem paratha/गोभी के डंठल का पराठा




Preparation Time:- 10 minutes 
Cooking Time:- 20minutes 
Serves:- 4


Ingredients:-

  • Wheat flour 2 cup
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Cauliflower stem 8 to 10 no
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Green chili chopped 1 tsp
  • Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Chat masala powder 1 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Ghee 1tbsp.
  • Oil for frying 

Method:-

  • Wash and grate the gobhi stem .
  • Now heat ghee in a pan add cumin as they change the colour add grated cauliflower stem, green chili, red chili powder,  cumin powder,  salt,  chat masala powder, lemon juice and coriander. 
  • Fry until all the water evaporates.
  • Switch off the gas. Allow to cool the mixture. 
  •  Make a soft by adding milk,flour and cooked mixture.  Cover and keep aside for 10 to 15 minutes. 
  • Now divide the mixture into equal portion and make the paratha. 
  • Fry both sides till golden and crisp. 
  • Serve hot with pickle,  sabji or curd.


Note:-

  • You can make it with Broccoli stem too.
  • Add spices as per  your taste. 
  • You can skip the milk .
  • You can use multigrain aata besides wheat flour.
