mangodi matar ki sabji / मंगोड़ी मटर की सब्जी

Mangodi aur matar is a very simple and homely recipe which is made from home made mangodi along with matar flavored with some simple and basic spices like turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt. no need for any whole spices.
mangodi matar ki sabji best serve with boiled rice or chapati along with onion tomato salad.

preparation time:- 10 minute
cooking time :- 25 minute
serves :- 4 

Ingredients :-

  • Mangodi 2 cup 
  • Green peas 1 cup 
  • Onion paste 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp 
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped tomatoes 2 
  • Ghee 1 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves for garnish


  • Heat ghee in a pan and golden fry the mangodi. take out from the pan.
  • Add oil in the same pan fry the onion paste till light brown.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt stir and mix, add chopped tomatoes and 1 tbsp water.
  • Cook the spices till the oil separates.
  • Now add fried mangodi and peas mix with spices add 3 glass water.
  • Cover and cook on sim for 15 minutes or till the mangodi becomes soft.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves, serve hot with boiled rice.
